Mark van Wyk

Mark is a Co-Managing Partner and has been a member of the Infra Impact Investment team since the firms inception. Mark is a captain of industry in the institutional impact and infrastructure investment space. Mark was previously founder and Head of Mergence unlisted investments business. He has more than 20 years of experience in capital and investment markets. Mark is a sought-after speaker, commentator and a guest lecturer at the UCT Graduate School of Business. He serves on the ASISA Responsible and Infrastructure Committees and has won numerous ABSIP awards for his role as a leader in Alternative Asset Management.
Morné Edas

Morné is a Co-Managing Partner and founded Infra Impact in 2020. He is a seasoned private equity investment professional with a passion for for impact infrastructure investment in Africa. He has over 20 years of experience and has given presentations and participated in panel discussions at infrastructure and investment events. Prior to founding Infra Impact Investment Managers, he held the position of Executive Director and founder of Sade Capital, providing investment advisory services to clients. Preceding this he was an Executive Director at a Stellenbosch based private equity firm and served as a non-executive director on the boards of various investee companies. Other roles include that of Investment Analyst and Nuclear Component Engineer. He completed his MBA at UCT full time, which included an exchange at Cambridge University in the UK. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, having completed the Advanced Management Program as well as the Private Equity & Venture Capital Program, in Boston, USA. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA), having achieved the professional Chartered Director (SA) designation by the IoDSA.
